Hello,
MyplanetI was using Net Express (version 5.101.0074) in Windows server 2008. Now I hae installed the same version in windows 7.
Net Express 5.101.0074 (or 5.1 Update 1) is not certified on neither Windows Server 2008 nor Windows 7. You will need to apply at least Update 4 to be certified on these versions of Windows.
I recommend to apply the latest update, which is Update 12. Please take note that Update 6 is a requirement for Update 12. In other words, you need to apply Update 6 first and then Update 12.
MyplanetI'm opening Net Express from an Environment file. The environment file has environment variables (COBDIR,COBIDY,COBCPY) and the variables
I'm not sure what you mean by opening Net Express from an environment file, but I'll take it as a script to set environment variables.
MyplanetSET LIB= Oracle client location and PATH. I do not know what LIB, PATH variables are for.
The LIB environment variable is where the Microsoft Linker looks for import and static libraries in .lib and .obj if they cannot be found in the current folder.
The PATH environment variable is where to look for and/or run executable programs, commands, or link libraries that are not found in the current folder.
MyplanetI have mapped a network drive in which all the dependency files are present. When I give Show Copy file it picks up the respective copy book from the mapped network drive.
I trying to compile a project. When I press build all ,I'm getting the message "Checking dependencies for DEBUG\Project1.EXE" and after that it is not picking up all the included copybook in the project. It continues to rebuild but it is stuck after displaying following messages , it is not completing the compilation. please help
